“Oh Boy!” Toddler Quilt (46” x 58”)  Update!
This fun quilt will be perfect for your little guy’s first big boy bed! It’s just the right size for a toddler bed; bigger than a crib quilt but still small enough for a little one to handle. It’s never too soon to start teaching them to make the bed. Choose his favorite theme (I used “Oh Boy, Dinos” from Free Spirit), frame the focus fabric and then march the flying geese around all the blocks. The flying geese are paper-pieced and assembled in pairs for speed and accuracy. HhQ7334

Learning Letters  (48" x 54")
You can personalize this quilt for a special child to begin the fun of learning letters! Full of bright colors, this quilt will be a winner for any age, from newborn to toddler. I used the alphabet panel from Moda’s ABC Menagerie for the border blocks and strip pieced the center using a jelly roll. We added the prairie points and names after quilting. I loved using JP’s 1½” Mini-Point Ruler for the prairie points on this quilt. Directions for the reversible prairie points and simple machine appliqué are included in the pattern. The alphabet is also provided and already reversed for tracing.   HhQ7388

“Quilted Brag Book” Kit (for 4” x 6” photos)
You’ve got bragging rights . . . quilts, kids, grandkids or pets. Carry this great quilted accessory and show off those pictures! This pattern kit contains the vinyl for the pocket and a mini photo album that holds 4” x 6” pictures. Choose a fat quarter for the wrap and another for the binding. This is also a great charm square project. Only 6 charms needed to piece the outside cover. Pattern includes a formula to calculate a cover for any size album. HhQ7338

Princess Toddler Quilt (46” x 58”)  Update!
Thrill your little princess with a special quilt for her first big-girl bed. It’s just the right size for a toddler bed; larger than a crib quilt but still small enough for a little one to handle. Make matching pillow cases and she’ll love her fancy bed! Choose her favorite theme (I used the “Princesses” line from Elizabeth Studios), frame the focus fabric with a narrow flat piping and the pieced blocks dance all around. Fussy cut motifs for the centers and then paper piece the square-in-a-square blocks for speed and accuracy. HhQ 7336

Hedgehog QuiltsOne of a Kind Kid Sweatshirt
This is a great project for charm squares! Choose fabrics in your child’s favorite colors, pick an oversized sweatshirt in a companion color and you’ll be ready to go. Work around a small panel square, if you like, and unify the project by choosing a single fabric for the sleeves and hood. Keep the layout simple to avoid overwhelming that little body. Best of all…no need to remove or mess with that intimidating zipper! Once you’ve made one or two of these, you won’t be able to stop! Won’t they make a great gift, too? #HhQ7329

Rag Tag Baby
Babies love texture…especially silky tags. Use washable textured fabrics, lots of different silky ribbons and this project will soon turn your little one into a “Rag Tag Baby”! Choose the smaller “Draggin’ Rag Tag” (16" x 19") for daytime fun or the larger “Rag Tag Blankie” (30" x 36") for bedtime. These are baby tested and so simple to make, you’ll want to keep a few on hand as shower gifts. #HhQ7321
